While in Nepal I saw many new and cultural things. I went trekking threw hills for four days and went shopping and sight seeing around the big cities.




Quarter 2 Independent Reading

Title: Boy
Author: Roald Dahl

The story is about the book Called “Boy” by Roald Dahl is a book filled with Roald’s child hood stories. The stories written in this book are usually about conflicts in Roald’s life. As a child Roald grew up in a wealthy family, even after his father passed away. He was sent to different boarding schools, and each boarding school brought something knew. After school, he decided he would go and work for a company which would send him to some foreign place such as Africa and sure enough his dream came true.

Quarter 1 Independent Reading

Title: Hit and Run
Author: Lurlene McDaniel


The story is about 4 characters, who all connect to each other. Laurie is freshmen and Quin is a senior, he asks her to go a party with him and she accepts. But on the way home Quin hits a deer, or at least he thinks its a deer. But the same night Analise road her bike threw the mountain roads but she didn’t come home that night, that was unusual for her. Her boyfriend, Jeremy, got a call from Analise’s parent, worried where she was, they looked for Analise and called Analise but no answer. She was found on the side of the road covered by branches and she went into a coma and police began to wonder if this could be a hit and run. Laurie soon makes the connection and realizes Quin did hit her and she could expose him or black mail him. she took the choice that would make her more popular, black mail. she black mails him into being her boyfriend and he has no choice but to except or his future as a baseball player is gone. Analise isn’t getting better, she getting worse and she has been in a coma for almost 8 months now, Jeremy receives a call early in the morning, not knowing what to expect, Analise’s parent break the news, Analise has died. Laurie eventually does the right thing and turns Quin in.
