Title: Don't Call me Ishmael

Author:Michael Gerard Bauer

-Donʼt Call Me Ishmael, a story written by Michael Gerard Bauer teaches others to act

against bulling. Ishmael, a fourteen year old boy attending St. Daniels College, who

believes that he is infected with Ishmael Leuser Syndrome which he made up that was the

reason of bad things occurred during school. His usual problems were bullies,

embarrassment, his little annoying sister, and his name which is made fun of by an evil

bully named Barry. He believes that there is no cure to Ishmael Lesuer Syndrome. For our

scene, we chose the part when a little kid who is Kellyʼs younger brother is being bullied by

Barry and his friends by throwing his cap around. Barry, a bully who is attending St.

Daniels College who had been bullying Ishmael since day one of Year 9.

In class we read a book called To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. It is about a discrimination about the Black community and the White community after the Great Depression. The Finch family wants the whole county to be fairly equal and his journey start! IRP Quarter 3


The Hunger Games is written by Suzanne Collins, the book represents major themes throughout the story. In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to death on live TV. After reading the book, I've made a podcast about the book to advertise people to read it. Hope you read the book!

Friar Lawrence Debate
