I am Number Four by Pittacus Lore

In this podcast I discuss the book I am Number Four by pseudonym author Pittacus Lore. I am Number Four follows the tale of a 15 year old boy named John Smith. . . or at least that's his name for now. John is an alien from the planet Lorien, who is being chased down by other Aliens that are named the Mogadorians. But what's going to happen now? John falls in love and is tired of running. How is he going to defeat the Mogadorians?

Title: Life on the Refrigerator Door

Life on the Refridgerator door is about a Single mother and her relationship with her teenaged daughter Claire. As Claire's mother she is very busy with work and Claire with school. This concludes to a relationship of communication through notes on the refrigerator door. As the story progresses, the notes become more literate and in depth, as we figure out there might be a problem with Claire's mother.
Watch our video as we interpret what we thought the main occurrences in the book as Kate plays the role of the fridge, Cynthia as Claire, and I as the mother.


Quarter 1 Independent Reading

Title: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

The Hunger Games is about a 16 year old girl named Katniss, living in what seems to be the future United States. Eras before each district(state) went to war with the capitol, but was defeated. As a part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to present with one boy and one girl to participate in a television event called the Hunger Games. The basic rules of the games are to kill, or to be killed. As Katniss' sister, Prim gets unfortunate honor of getting picked on her first year of possible, Katniss volunteers in her place.
